Introductory Mechanics ReView Course

May 12, 2014

Registration is open for a free online MIT-level course in Introductory Newtonian Mechanics targeting teachers who want to improve their pedagogy, their conceptual overview of Mechanics, and their problem-solving skills.  A special section for teachers with discussion forums on how to teach Mechanics will make them eligible to obtain a "CEU Transcript" from AAPT. Designed by MIT professor David Pritchard and his education research group, this course employs a newly developed method for organizing  mechanics knowledge that  facilitates an expert approach to problem solving, and many challenging problems to solve. The course runs May 29 à Aug 24, 2014 with the first quiz due June 22.
